American Compost, LLC was founded in White Deer, Texas in 2018. It is a family owned company that has been farming in the Texas Panhandle for over five decades.

American Compost is a family-owned business that started in 2018 in White Deer, TX. Our family has been involved in agriculture for multiple generations, primarily row crop farming and raising cattle. Our rich history in agriculture and passion to grow higher yields, and better quality crops led us to what is now known as, American Compost.

American Compost is 100% cow manure with no bio-solids (no human waste, foreign material, sand, dirt, etc…) as a filler. Using our patent-pending process of adding Hydra Hume to STA Certified compost, you will see faster results due to increased levels of nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. Hydra Hume is a humic and fulvic acid. Recent laboratory studies have shown that our product increases microbial activities with a 4,700% increase of aerobic bacteria, 136% increase in anaerobic bacteria, a 3.9% increase in total nitrogen, a 35.2% increase in ammonium nitrogen, and a 50% reduction in ammonia volatility.

American Compost allows customers to gain the additional benefits of increased availability of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium and micronutrients, improved nutrient cycling, increased water holding capacity (less water for your yard), enhanced salt mitigation, and proliferation of beneficial microbes. Plus, American Compost will increase root mass and overall plant growth.

We are all organic and STA Certified. We have a bagging facility on site in White Deer, TX where we screen 100% of the product to ensure high quality compost. We can provide bulk (truck loads), super sacks, and 38 pound bags.

This compost is also cooked and turned with a scarab at very hot and high temperatures for a clean product.
Our bagging facility has conveyors, trommel screens and rate controllers to ensure a fine, top-quality product.
